We have the world’s best potlucks at work:

I do not use measurements…so these are approximate….

Juice about 5-6 limes
Crush a whole bulb of garlic (not one clove, the whole thing!!)
Thaw and peel 2-4 pounds of shrimp
3-4 sticks of butter
Taco seasoning (I use Tonnes from Sam’s Club/Costco)

Sautee garlic in a little oil for about 30 seconds until it starts to sizzle. Add lime juice. Allow the lime juice to cook down a little. The longer you let it cook down the more lime flavor. Add at least half the butter and let it melt. Then add shrimp and taco seasoning to taste (usually a few tablespoons). Cook till done. If you want a thicker sauce my uncle (the creator) adds some flour mixed with water or melted butter at the end but be careful cause the first time I did it, it made the butter separate and was not nearly as visually appealing, so I leave it out. Turn off and add the rest of the butter and allow it to melt. Serve!

We usually eat them with sauteed peppers and onions on flour tortillas…some what like a fajita. Pepper jack cheese is a nice topping too!
